We meet voters’ needs who live inside the city limits of Bloomington, IL.  Voters living elsewhere in McLean County need to contact the County Clerk’s office.

2025 VOTER CONFIRMATION MAILING INFORMATION

Per 10 ILCS 5/6-59, we have commenced our biennial city-wide address confirmation mailing where a voter information card indicating your precinct, the districts that represent you and your polling place has been sent to every registered voter in the City of Bloomington. This process helps ensure that each registered voter in our database STILL lives where they are registered to vote.

If you receive a card addressed to a voter that has died, no longer lives at your address or another scenario that disproves residency, please DO NOT THROW THIS AWAY. Instead, write “NO LONGER LIVES AT THIS ADDRESS” on the face of the card where the address is listed and simply replace it back in your mailbox. Once received, our office will invalidate that voter’s registration. Our office cannot maintain an efficient and errorless voter roll without your help!

If you are newly registered or had to update your name or address recently, you may receive another voter card in the mail. Once received, please keep the card with the newest “issue date” located at the top of your card near the barcode and shred any previous card you may have received prior.
