The only petitions filed with the Bloomington Election Commission are for City and Township offices. Petitions for all other County offices are filed with the McLean County Clerk.

2024 GENERAL PRIMARY
ELECTION TUESDAY, MARCH 19, 2024Mar. 26th – Last day for a Provisional voter to submit documentation to support their registration status.
Apr. 2nd – Last day for all Vote by Mail or Provisional ballots to be validated and counted.
Vote by Mail ballots must be either:- Postmarked by election day and received no later than 14 days after the election.
- Not postmarked, but had a certification date prior to the Election Day on the certification
envelope, and were received after the close of the polls on Election Day, but not later than
14 days after the election. - Not postmarked, but did have an intelligent mail barcode tracking system that verifies the
envelope was mailed no later than Election Day, and received not later than 14 days after
the election.
