As a coextensive unit of government, the City of Bloomington Township share the same geographic boundaries and governing body as the City of Bloomington. There are two elected township positions: Township Supervisor and Assessor. The Mayor and Alderpersons that are elected and serve the City of Bloomington also act as trustees for the township.
