Aug. 7th – First day for any registered voter presently within the confines of the United States, to make application by mail, online or in-person for a vote by mail ballot. (10 ILCS 5/19-2, 19-4)
____________________________________Sept. 26th – First day an election authority may mail a vote by mail ballot (10 ILCS 5/19-4)

First day of early voting. (10 ILCS 5/19A-15)
____________________________________Oct. 8th – Last day for regular voter registration.
–Grace period registration will commence after this date.– (10 ILCS 5/5-50, 6-50, 6-53)**You may still register online at ova.elections.il.gov**
