The Bloomington Election Commission will be following CDC and IDPH guidelines in the polling places.
- All Election Judges MUST wear facemasks while working at the polls. We can encourage voters to wear a mask but we cannot refuse to let them vote if they do not wear one.
- Sneeze guards will be in place between the voters and election judges at the check in stations.
- All voters will be encouraged to wear a mask while in the poll. The BEC will have a supply of masks available to voters who do not have a mask and will offer a mask to any voter who does not have a mask.
- All polls will have markings for social distancing
- Voting booths will be set up 6 feet apart.
- Signage will be posted encouraging voters to maintain social distancing and to wear masks.
- Election judges must not eat at the various voting stations and must eat and take breaks at least 6 feet away from the various polling stations.
